The TUCP delegation, spearheaded by TUCP President and House Deputy Speaker Raymond Democrito C. Mendoza, actively took part in the successful ASEAN Trade Union Council (ASEAN-TUC) Triennial General Assembly led by ASEAN-TUC President Andi Gani Nena Wea.
The Assembly gathered trade union leaders across the region to strengthen solidarity and advance workers’ rights in ASEAN. During the event, President Mendoza was elected as the new General Secretary of ASEANTUC on behalf of TUCP and the Philippine labor movement—a strong affirmation of TUCP’s growing leadership and commitment to regional unity for decent work, fair wages, and social justice.
